This original author’s painting «Wild Hare» was created by contemporary artist Leri Pai and is available for purchase online in our gallery.
The painting «Wild Hare» by artist Leri Pai is a whirlwind of fantasy and vivid colors, presenting the world of nature through the prism of surreal and naive art. The rich green background, symbolizing the wildness of the forest or meadow, becomes the perfect stage for dynamic action.
At the center of the composition is a stylized lilac hare frozen in mid-leap, its shapes smooth and energetic. Details such as the red «flaming» tails and blue spots on its body give the image a fairy-tale and mystical liveliness, emphasizing the animal’s «wild» character. Around the hare are various abstract and plant forms, each adding layers to the narrative.
Leri Pai, known for her unique style, uses bright, contrasting colors and simplified but expressive forms characteristic of Fauvism and Primitivism. The work radiates energy, optimism, and a touch of mysticism, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of fantasies and symbols where nature and cosmos intertwine in a single dance.
