This original painting «The Pulsating Second», created by contemporary artist Sveta Bataenkova, is available for purchase online in our gallery.
This painting, part of the series «The Main Character. Monologue», depicts a lush peony blossoming in all its glory against a deep black background. The flower's petals, rendered in delicate shades of pink and fuchsia with bright yellow-green accents in the center, showcase subtle transitions of light and shadow. The detailed work on each petal creates a sense of movement and volume, emphasizing its velvety texture and fragility.
The work captures a fleeting moment of full bloom, recorded with astonishing realism.
It is the flower’s appeal to our heart: look how victorious and majestic life is when it breaks through to the light. Divine order triumphing over emptiness.
