This original work "September" was created by contemporary Russian artist Alexandra Mato and is available for purchase online.
"September" by Alexandra Mato is a vivid embodiment of the autumn mood, conveyed through abstract forms and dynamic color combinations. The artist captures the multifaceted nature of this transitional season, where the last echoes of summer meet the first signs of fall.
The painting is built on the contrast of warm and cool tones: rich yellow and pink hues sit alongside deep blue and muted gray, creating a sense of picturesque chaos filled with inner harmony. Expressive broad brushstrokes and graphic elements—strokes and lines—give the work energy and dynamism.
This canvas can be classified as abstract expressionism, where color and form become the primary tools for expressing emotions and experiences. Alexandra Mato invites the viewer into a dialogue, leaving room for personal interpretation of autumn—a time of melancholy, yet also renewal and preparation for new beginnings.
