The painting depicts our usual landscape, which in spring turns into a difficult-to-navigate, rugged, swampy terrain. Shrubs and tall trees with barely emerged young leaves are surrounded by ground with patches of grass and murky water. There are no roads visible, only directions.
Every year, motorists make new attempts to overcome natural obstacles, even organizing races. Who will overcome the challenges faster? The blue car on the left, tilted and partially submerged in shallow water, or the blue van with a white roof, stuck in deeper water on the right? Hopefully, friendship or… spring roads will prevail!
