The focus of this series is the human being. Can a person be considered an unconditional «frame of reference» for evaluating all existence in the world? Is man the measure of all things? In my works, I have attempted to depict the objective connections between phenomena of the material world: the human and the world — both the natural and the man-made, the contemporary world organically complemented by digital technologies. How harmoniously does a person feel in today’s world, considering themselves the center of existence? Realizing that nature is largely beyond control, man tries to create something governed only by himself. Some of us believe that life in a digitally augmented world is an escape from reality, while others see it as an opportunity to expand the boundaries of inner content and reach outward.
