Zozulya Olga Yuryevna was born in 1979 in the city of Ufa. An applied artist, painter, graphic artist, candidate of pedagogical sciences, member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
She graduated from the Ufa Children's Art School (1993); Ufa College of Arts with two specialties: "Painter-Teacher" and "Designer in Architectural and Spatial Environment" (1994–1999); Bashkir State Pedagogical University at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Graphics, where she focused particularly on printmaking and batik (1999–2004). She defended her candidate dissertation in the city of Yaroslavl in 2009.
Since 2003, she has been a member of the association of young artists and art historians under the RO VTOO "Union of Artists of Russia" of the Republic of Bashkortostan. She received a special prize from the M.V. Nesterov Bashkir State Art Museum within the framework of the first republican competition of young artists of Bashkortostan for the best work of fine art (Ufa, 2003). She became a state scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Artists of Russia for creative exploration in the field of fine arts (Moscow, 2005). Since 2013, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
She worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Graphics of BSPU named after M. Akmulla (Ufa, 2005–2012). She continued her work at the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts in the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts (2012–2024). Currently, she works as a teacher at the Ufa College of Arts.
Olga Zozulya’s creative interests in decorative and applied arts include cold and hot batik, free fabric painting, and mixed techniques. The main themes are floral still life, landscape, and narrative compositions combining motifs of native nature and the architectural distinctiveness of old towns in the form of panels, as well as the stylization of natural forms into ornamental motifs. She works with diptychs, triptychs, and series.
