Viktor Alekseevich Bychkov
Since 1991, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
In 1996, he became a laureate of the regional award in the field of culture, art, and literature (Vladimir city).
In 2002, he was awarded the regional prize «Recognition – 2002».
In 2010, he was honored with the title «Honored Artist of the Russian Federation».
In 2011, he was included in the Encyclopedia «Best People of Russia» under the section «Glorious Sons and Daughters of the Motherland» for his significant contribution to the development of culture and art.
Since 2012, he has been a corresponding member of the Petrov Academy of Sciences and Arts (St. Petersburg).
In 2016, he was awarded the silver medal of the Union of Artists of Russia «Spirituality. Traditions. Mastery».
In 2021, for his great contribution to the development of culture and art, he was awarded the «Sign of Grand Prince Andrey Bogolyubsky».
In 2022, he received the gold medal from VTOO «Union of Artists of Russia» «Spirituality. Traditions. Mastery».
He has participated in various art exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
He has held 27 solo exhibitions of his works in museums and galleries in different cities across the country.
Works by V.A. Bychkov are held in the collections of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve, the Center for the Promotion of Fine Arts in Vladimir, the Ivanovo Regional Art Museum, the Art Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the I.E. Repin Academy of Painting Museum in Saint Petersburg, the Kovrov Historical and Memorial Museum, the Murom Art Museum, the Republican Art Museum in Yoshkar-Ola (Republic of Mari El), as well as in many galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad—in Korea, China, Serbia, Italy, America, and Slovakia.
A copy of one of the key works in Viktor Bychkov’s oeuvre, «Invasion», is located on the territory of the Kremlin in Moscow.
Viktor Alekseevich Bychkov has been awarded Honorary Certificates, Letters of Appreciation from the administrations of various cities and regions, a diploma from the Union of Artists of Russia, and the Russian Committee for Peace Protection.
