Irina Lang is an expressionist artist, whose originality sets her apart in a special way on the Samara art scene.
The artist was born in Samara. She studied architecture and design. She devoted the last fifteen years of her life to painting. She is widely involved in educational artistic activities, having organized the ArtCherdak studio at her studio. The artist exhibits in Russia and abroad: the Naked Nature exhibition, London; ArtQuest, Turkey; Pavlodar Regional Art Museum named after Nagimbek Nurmukhammedov, Kazakhstan;
multimedia exhibition, Dubai. The author's works are in private collections of Russian and foreign collectors.
The artist's painting style has absorbed the features of expressionism and impressionism, rethought in the spirit of modernity and realized in a special pictorial-sensual manner, saturated with incredible
energy. The artist's favorite genres are still lifes and flower arrangements, complemented by bright, cheerful landscapes. The artist creates large-format canvases, spectacular and powerful. The author is inspired by the most ordinary things that surround us, but the ordinariness on the artist's canvases turns into sonorous, emotionally charged images that create a beautiful new reality for everyone. The artist instills beauty where it did not exist before. The main character of Irina Lang's paintings is color - shining, intense, sometimes brought to its maximum expressiveness. Bold colors, a wide, free, very energetic manner of painting - this is what distinguishes the artist's creative style. The rich palette of color nuances is mesmerizing. Irina's painting is a celebration of color and light, a glorification of love for life in all its variability and diversity. Here, on these canvases, it is as if joy itself is captured.
