Ilya Ivanovich Butusov (born in 1963) is an associate professor of the Department of Painting and Drawing, and the chairman of the Primorsky branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
He graduated from the Far Eastern State Academy of Arts and the Far Eastern State Humanities University.
He is a laureate of many international and all-Russian competitions.
The artist's works are held in museum collections such as the Far Eastern Art Museum, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Sakha, the Primorsky State Art Gallery, the Stuttgart Museum of Fine Arts, the Bussan Municipal Museum, the Heilongjiang Provincial Art Museum, and the Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art.
