Andrey Viktorovich Vilkov was born in 1977 in the village of Varvarovka, Kamensky District, Penza Region.

In 2000, he graduated from the Penza Art College named after K.A. Savitsky (Painting Department).

Since 2008, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the International Association of Art – AIAP UNESCO.

In 2010, he was assigned category 5B (established professional artist) in the Unified Artistic Rating.

Since 2024, he has been a member of the Russian Geographical Society.

Laureate of the Governor's Award of the Penza Region.

Participant in international, all-Russian, interregional, regional, group, and other exhibitions.

Has held more than thirty solo exhibitions.

Participant in international plein airs in Montenegro, Italy, and France. 

Participant in numerous plein airs in Russia. 

 Author and leader of the International Plein Air named after N.V. Kuzmin in Serdobsk. 

2008 – "Golden Sign" and honorary diploma of the "Cultural Heritage" foundation. 

2010 – Diploma of the Union of Artists of Russia.

2012 – Letter of gratitude from the Russian Academy of Arts.
