Bayram Salamov was born in 1965 in Sheki, Azerbaijan. In 1986, he graduated from the Baku Art School named after Azim Azimzade.

He has held more than 60 confirmed solo exhibitions both in Russia and abroad: in Prague (Czech Republic), Limassol (Cyprus), Berlin (Germany), Wolfsburg (Germany), Baku (Azerbaijan).

Since 1990, he has lived and worked in Russia. He is an active practicing artist, and his studio is always open to residents and visitors of the city. "Арт-галерея Байрама" is one of the actively operating creative spaces in the city of Tolyatti, where Bayram lives and works.

In his work, he combines the traditions of the East and the West.

1982-1986 - Baku Art School named after Azim Azimzade (Azerbaijan)

2006-2009 - Togliatti State University (Russia)

Achievements (awards, articles, exhibitions)

2001 - received the Grand Prix diploma for participation in the competition "Artistic Work of the Year - 2000" and the "Gallery" prize (the competition was held with the participation of the Art Museum, Tolyatti Art Gallery, and the Tolyatti City Hall)

2010 - was awarded a bronze medal "For Contribution to National Culture" by the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Federation of Artists

2010 - the artist's creative and organizational abilities were recognized by the Swiss publication «Who is who in Russia. Biographical Encyclopedia of Successful People of Russia» (IV edition, 2010, Hubners Who is Who).

2012 - awarded a silver medal by the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.

2015 - awarded a gold medal by the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.

Since 2002 - Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia

Since 2017 - Member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan

Since 2024 - Member of the Tolyatti Creative Union of Artists "Solaris"

Most notable exhibitions:

2002 - solo exhibition in Prague (Czech Republic);

2002 - solo exhibition in Limassol (Cyprus);

2014 - solo exhibition in Baku (Azerbaijan) with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.

2015 - solo exhibition in Baku (Azerbaijan).

2015 - solo exhibition in Berlin (Germany);

2016 - solo exhibition in Wolfsburg (Germany), where Bayram was chosen as a cultural figure representing the twin city of Tolyatti, as part of the Wolfsburg-Tolyatti Friendship Days celebration.

2024 - solo exhibition at the "Azerbaijan" Pavilion at VDNH, Moscow (Russia)
