Yulia Ivanovna Bulgakova (Loshchenova) was born on November 28, 1986, in Novosibirsk. She studied at Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, at the Faculty of the Institute of Arts from 2004 to 2009. In 2012, she enrolled in the Faculty of Easel Painting at the I. E. Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture (now the I.E. Repin Academy of Arts) in the workshop of D.A. Kollegova. Since 2015, she has studied under the guidance of Professor, Honored Artist of Russia, Y.V. Kalyuta. In 2018, she completed her studies in the easel painting workshop with a diploma work on an Orthodox theme titled "Silence," which was highly praised by the members of the State Attestation Commission, receiving an "excellent" grade.
Since 2018, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia (St. Petersburg branch).
