Valery Egorovich Belenikin, a Russian artist, was born in 1961 in Moscow. He is a member of the UNESCO Artists' Union.

In 1991, he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (monumental workshop of Yu. K. Korolyov).

From 1991 to 1997, about 70 solo exhibitions were held in Russia and abroad (in Australia, Austria, Belgium, the USA, Sri Lanka, etc.).
In 1997, the artist moved to the USA. He exhibited in the best galleries of New York and Long Island (where he held a charity auction in support of the Philharmonic (Southampton)). He held an exhibition at the Government House in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 2000, he opened his own gallery in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and later in the antique town of Lambertville, New Jersey.
In 2006, his exhibition "A Look into the Future" was successfully held at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. It received positive feedback from art critics and had a wide public resonance.
In 2007, the artist returned to his homeland and continued working on series of paintings: "Slavic Myths," "100 Portraits of Outstanding Russian People," "Cities of Russia."
Valery Belenikin's works are in private collections in Russia, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Australia, Japan, Tunisia, Sweden, the USA, Argentina, and other countries.
