Margarita was born and raised in Saint Petersburg in a family of engineers and attended art school from childhood, then studied at the B. V. Ioganson Academic Art Lyceum (SPGAHL).
Later, she continued her education at the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture (SPbGAIJSА), where she studied under Professor V. S. Pesikov. She also attended classes in the studio led by N. D. Blokhin, N. N. Repin, and N. S. Lysak. Her studies at the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture concluded with her diploma work titled "Duet."
She has been a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 2011 and a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia since 2019.
Margarita's works are represented by galleries in Moscow, China, and New York and are held in private and gallery collections around the world. Currently, she continues her creative work, striving to participate in the development of Petersburg culture, as well as teaching and serving as an associate professor in the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design at the Nevsky Institute of Design at the MPA EurAsEC University.
Overall, the artist’s work is dedicated to the interaction between nature and humans and their influence on each other.
