Irina Kupriyanova

Country: Montenegro ·Born in 1970

Irina Kupriyanova — a contemporary artist working in Kaliningrad. Her bright and multilayered works combine elements of metasurrealism, decorative painting, and symbolic storytelling. She was born in 1970 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. From an early age, she showed an interest in art and held her first solo exhibition at the age of 13.

Irina's education spans several fields — from finance to interior design (Guildford Design School, 2008) and, finally, painting and easel graphics (Moscow Academy of Arts, 2012). She actively works in various techniques and materials: oil, acrylic, gold leaf, texture pastes, batik, glass and ceramic painting. Her works are filled with imagination, textures, symbols, and visual metaphors.

Today she lives and creates on the Adriatic coast, inspired by the Mediterranean light, the sound of the sea, and natural harmony. Her paintings are a visual dialogue with the surrounding world, filled with positive energy, warmth, and love for the creative process. She strives to convey through her works the beauty of life, the unity of humans with nature, and the depth of emotions.

Irina is a member of the art association "Абрис" and the organization "Акварель." Her works have been exhibited in Russia, Poland, and Montenegro — at festivals, museums, galleries, and solo exhibitions in Kaliningrad, Gdańsk, Budva, Svetlogorsk, and other cities. The artist's works are held in private collections in the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Hong Kong, and Russia.

Irina Kupriyanova is open to new creative projects, collaborations, and individual commissions. For her, each work is a journey into the depths of feelings, a way to share beauty and light with the world.
