Natalya Lavrentyeva (born in 1971, Maykop, Krasnodar Krai) is an artist-designer working with copper and natural materials; founder of the project My Greenery Art, which creates unique interior art objects using the electroforming method based on natural leaves. Candidate member of the Eurasian Art Union. She lives and works in Moscow.
Natalya’s artistic practice has grown from many years of interaction with landscapes and observation of natural structures. The My Greenery Art project is based on the idea of preserving a moment: a real leaf becomes a matrix that captures its shape in metal.
This is how copper sculptures, dishes, candlesticks, wall compositions, and interior art objects are born, combining the fragility of natural material with the durability of copper.
Natalya pays special attention to the symbolism of plants, their lines, character, condition — each leaf as a bearer of history. Her works are distinguished by tactility, depth, and the desire to convey the “inner light” of the natural form.
Since 2024, the artist has been developing the direction of large interior objects: volumetric paintings, interior dishes and vases, author’s quartz clocks, creating items that become the conceptual center of a modern interior.
The works are held in private collections in Russia.
Natalya graduated from MGALP named after Kosygin and later received professional training in landscape design at the Academic School of Design. She has spent over twenty years creating private gardens and natural spaces, including in the Muzeon Park in Moscow.
Since 2022, she has been studying electroforming as an artistic method and over the course of a year and a half has developed her own original techniques for working with copper and natural forms.
