Many impressionistic paintings by A. Yudin are in the Mitsubishi corporate collection and in private collections in France, Germany, England, Italy, and the USA.
At the current time, he teaches both in the children's art studio at school and the art studio in the Museum. He also works with adults—aspiring artists and students of the Academy.
Andrey Yudin works in various styles with different mediums, but pastels remain his favorite. There is something intangible in his art, similar to what you may find in the works of Lithuanian artist Ciurlionis (although their styles differ dramatically), a subtle world of dreams and music, as well as in the works of the renowned hedonist Renoir with his love of sun and light. Those artists are favorites of Andrey’s. He was inspired by Ciurlionis during a visit to Kaunas, seeing the “Ciurlionis Museum of pastel,” and later by Renoir’s influence from the Museum of Impressionism “d’Orsay” in Paris.
The art of Andrey Yudin has something very valued by his teacher – the renowned Tver artist Vsevolod Sergeevich Solodov – a sincerity of emotions. Thanks to Solodov’s influence, Andrey found his unique style quite quickly and without prolonged exploration.
