S.A. Pozdeev was born on June 24, 1957, in Feodosia. In 1980, he graduated from the N.S. Samokish Simferopol Art School. Since 1981, he has participated in exhibitions. Since 1992, he has been a member of the NSHU. In 2013, the artist was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of Crimea. Since 2014, he has been a member of the VTOO "Union of Artists of Russia." He lives and works in Feodosia. His works are held in the Feodosia National Art Gallery named after I.K. Aivazovsky, as well as in private collections in Russia and countries near and far abroad.
