Igor Anatolyevich Selivanov was born on December 15, 1966, in the city of Dmitrov, Moscow region. Since 1998, he studied artistic carving and worked as a woodcarver. He became passionate about painting in 2009. His main focus is modern realistic still life. Painting technique: colored multilayer painting with layer drying, as well as colored multilayer painting with preparatory layers following the Flemish system, which requires clear contour lines and meticulous detailing. His first works were copies of Dutch and Spanish artists: Luis Meléndez, Juriaan van Streek, Jan van Huysum, Willem Claesz Heda; copies of Russian artists: Vasily Perov and Ivan Khrutsky commissioned. Subsequent works include original still lifes with fruits and flowers, as well as portraits and commissioned paintings. He is a regular participant in exhibitions and a laureate of competitions. A professional contemporary artist. Member of МОООСХ (Moscow Regional Public Organization "Union of Artists"). Department: Painting.
