Agata Belaya was born in Saint Petersburg in 1975.
She graduated from the Ioganson Art School in 1995.
In 1996, Agata enrolled in the Saint Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after I. E. Repin.
In 1999, while studying in her fourth year, she worked with a group of artists who were restoring the murals in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow. After graduating from the Academy of Arts in 2001, the famous Russian artist Andrey Mylnikov invited Agata to join his creative workshop. Her diploma work "Theatre" was praised by the academic council and participated in various exhibitions; it is now housed in the Museum of the Academy of Arts.
In 2005, the painting "Morning" was exhibited at the All-Russian Competition of Young Artists at the Tretyakov Gallery and won 3rd place.
In 2004 and 2006, she received a state scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Since 2006, she has been an active member of the "Polyrealism" society.
In 2013, Agata Belaya won 2nd place in the international competition of grotesque painting and drawing "Baraonda".
In 2013, her solo exhibition was held at the "S.P.A.S." gallery.

Agata Belaya has been a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 2003.
Since 2008, she has been teaching at SPbSUTD.
Currently, she is an associate professor in the Department of Painting and Drawing at SPbSUTD.
