Larisa Vladimirovna Guryeva – an honored cultural worker of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, awarded a diploma from the regional branch of the Russian Academy of Arts and a gold medal from the Union of Artists of Russia. Throughout her creative and professional life, Larisa has worked alongside her husband Sergey. The family union of these two artists cannot be called a "creative tandem" – yes, there are two of them, and they are a couple, but they are such different authors, creating their canvases in the same studio, that it is impossible not to see the powerful individuality of each of them in their paintings.

Larisa Vladimirovna is a still life artist, a genre in which she willingly and extensively works. It is commonly believed that still life is a genre that most accurately reflects the soul of the artist, their worldview. Guryeva’s still lifes are beautifully composed in terms of painting, striking and original in their presentation, distinguished by an amazing harmony. She has her own circle of favorite images, dominated by the world of flowers and gifts of nature surrounded by simple but originally integrated household items on the canvas, with her own individual style that always features a strong decorative element. However, the colorfulness and cheerfulness radiated by the "still life" in her works do not correspond to its usual definition. On the contrary, the bright, juicy colors of flowers, fruits, and plants from the dacha garden, where Larisa, by the way, loves to spend time, are perceived as powerful and triumphant. The artist seems to pour out the colorful diversity of these wonderful exotic plants, inviting the viewer to admire the luxurious beauty of whimsical nature.
