Tatyana Shutova

Country: Russia ·Born in 1963

Since early childhood, I dreamed of becoming an artist. I received higher education in Smolensk with a specialization as an artist-teacher. I taught, learned, and kept learning. As a member of the Designers' Union, I engage in freehand fabric painting and have developed new techniques and technologies. As a member of the Eurasian Union, I paint with acrylic and oil. In oil painting, I prefer a impasto style using a palette knife. My oil paintings are mainly from life. I love painting flowers. I believe that flowers represent celebration and joy. When they appear on the canvas and stay with me or with someone who admires them, the celebration enters the home and brings happiness.

Education

Smolensk Pedagogical Institute from 1980 to 1985

Achievements (awards, articles, exhibitions)

I am a regular participant in exhibitions at the regional, national, and international levels. Throughout my fairly long creative career, I have organized no fewer than 20 solo exhibitions. My works are held in private collections in America, Germany, Italy, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Belarus, and of course, Russia.
