I seriously took up painting in 2014. The decision to buy paints and canvases came somewhat spontaneously. For some reason, I was immediately confident that painting with oils would not be very difficult for me. Before that, I had always had a desire to paint; sometimes, looking at the sunset, the lighting of the sky, the clouds — I imagined how to achieve a particular color, which paints should be mixed, how the paint should lie on the canvas. This always inspired me.
With the first painting, my love for the creative process only grew stronger. The people around me, both close and acquaintances, as often happens, did not take my new hobby seriously. But when the work was finished, for many it was unexpected — just to take and paint a picture without having previously worked with brushes, oil paint, and canvas was certainly unusual.
Before buying the necessary materials for painting, I was somewhat familiar with the theory of the creative process, but in practice, everything was new. The feeling was similar to childhood, when you first felt balance on a two-wheeled bicycle; my joy and excitement knew no bounds.
That’s how I embarked on the path of art. The journey I have already traveled has brought me many positive emotions; I feel happy following this path. I am sure there are many more creative discoveries ahead in the world of art.
I was born in the sunny city of Frunze, Kyrgyzstan, on September 22, 1983. Since then, here in this world, I have been painting my vast canvas called life. Day by day, fragment by fragment, the canvas interwoven with various threads connecting people, events, and time fills with new colors, plots, and settings. This is the most important painting for me; I strive to paint it with dignity and meaning.
Since I was 18, I have lived in Siberia, in Novosibirsk. Now I have built a house outside the city and become a father of many children.
For 10 years now, I have been passionate about making musical instruments and have made it my main craft. I make jaw harps and glockophones, filling life with rhythms and music.
