EKATERINA SHUVALOVA, painter

 Born in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region.

Since 2000, she has lived and worked in Moscow.

 In 2016, she graduated from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute with a degree in Painting.

She is engaged in active creative and public activities: a regular participant in Moscow, regional, Russian, and international exhibitions, competitions, projects, and plein airs organized by various art associations, including museums.

Her exhibitions have been held in leading venues in Moscow (State Historical Museum of Moscow, Central House of Artists, State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, Moscow City Duma, exhibition halls of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Moscow Union of Artists, exhibition halls of the Union of Artists of Russia in the New Tretyakov Gallery, exhibition halls of VDNH, Moscow House of Nationalities, and others), Saint Petersburg (the historic building of the Imperial Society for the Encouragement of the Arts, exhibition center of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists), as well as in several art museums in Russia (Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts, Alushta Museum-Estate of A.N. Beketov, Mytishchi Historical and Art Museum).

Over 80 exhibitions in the last 5 years (in Russia, France, Montenegro, USA, Luxembourg, UAE). Her works are held in private collections in Russia, England, Canada, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova, the Maldives, as well as in Moscow churches: the Church of the Great Martyr Irina in Pokrovsky and the Church of Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles in the Old Gardens.
