I am an artist from Sochi, Olga Simonova. I have been painting for over 40 years. Recently, I have been working on the theme of the sea, since I live by the sea and it is all close to me. And I reveal this theme through people who interact with the sea. In my paintings, I depict beautiful, happy, healthy people, mostly women, who communicate with the sea and the sun. The main element of all my works is sunlight.
I want to bring light to the world, I believe in kindness, love and honesty. My paintings are about feelings, emotions, beauty and life! And I, in turn, am a true idealist and optimist: I believe that the world is beautiful and every person in it is good and pure. And I am also sure that inner and outer beauty are closely related. And I also want to add that “Beauty is not in the face, beauty is the light in the heart”
No wonder they say that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. That's why I lead a healthy lifestyle, pay attention to prayer and almost daily exercises. My motto is - life is too short to do something you don't like! So I'm a happy person, in my place. And I hope that my paintings will help decorate this world and make it a little kinder and better.
