Georgiy Petrov – artist.

Born in Moscow in 1975.

Works in various visual art techniques – painting, graphics, photography, video art....

In recent years, he has been working in an original technique based on the synthesis

of photographic multi-exposure and pastel graphics.

Main directions in his work – realism, symbolism.

Main teachers: the artist's mother – Tatyana Gavriilovna Petrova – Latysheva, Yuliy Nikolaevich Orsa, Vitaliy Leonidovich Baryshnikov.

Teacher at the children's art studio «ЭДЕССА» at the Sunday school at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God «Joy of All Who Sorrow» at Kalitnikovskoe Cemetery.

In 2015, together with his wife, Kseniya Petrova - Bosenko, he founded the children's art studio

The summer branch of the studio is located in the gallery of the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God

in the city of Tutayev (Romanov — Borisoglebsk.)

Drawing instructor in preparatory courses at the Drawing Department of MIIAGIK.

Member of the professional unions of artists and photographers of Russia.

Graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1998.

1996 — 1997 - Worked as a master printer in the etching creative experimental studio named after I.I. Nivinsky at MSH.

In the early 2000s, collaborated with the Moscow club «Vermel» as a curator of art exhibitions.

2002 — Worked as a designer of courtyard areas under the Moscow courtyard improvement program.

2007-2008 — Worked as a video operator and editor in the audio-visual information department of RIA Novosti.

2009 – 2013 - Created a number of video clips for Moscow music groups: «VOLGA»,

«Rada i Ternovnik», «Ochelye Soroki», “KUGE».

2007 — 2023 - Taught the disciplines «Academic Drawing», «Painting»

at the institute «Modern School of Design».

Taught drawing and painting at the children's art studio at the Sunday school «Vifaniya»

of the Church of St. Righteous John of Kronstadt in Zhulebino.

Taught at the children's studio «ЭДЕССА» at the Sunday school at the Church of Venerable Alexius the Man of God in Krasnoye Selo.

The artist's works are kept in the media museum of the Spiritual History of the city of Romanov — Borisoglebsk, in private collections in Russia, the USA, Australia, France, Germany, England, Tanzania, Finland, Karelia, Tuva.
