Born and raised in Moscow in 1977.

From childhood, he showed an interest in visual arts. He studied at the "Serp i Molot" cultural center studio under teachers Igor Yermolaev and Ivan Karamyan. He also attended courses by Alexander Andreevich Livanov, a lecturer at the Moscow State University of Printing Arts, which he enrolled in 2000 and left in 2003.

In 2003, he completed the Designer course at MSUP.

A contemporary Russian artist, painter, and graphic artist. He is known for his multilayered works at the intersection of figurative painting and surimpressionism, in which he reinterprets classical traditions in a modern context. In the early 2000s, he actively engaged in exhibition activities. His early works were characterized by an interest in allegory and hidden narratives.

The works of Dmitry Sergeyevich Ivanov are held in private collections in Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the USA.

Achievements (awards, articles, exhibitions)

Participant in exhibitions organized by the Moscow Union of Artists. Since 2005, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists (promo graphics section). Exhibitions: «First» 1999 – «Expo 88» gallery; Pastel Academy (2001–2006, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Lipetsk, Yakutsk); «Graphics and Design» Promo Graphics 2005; «Marine Artists Competition» 2006 – Russian Museum, Saint Petersburg; Large Pastel (2013–2014, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Moscow).
