Marina Petrova is an artist working in the mixed media art style. In her works, she most often uses natural canvas, acrylic, and texture paste. Sometimes she resorts to various decorations and epoxy resin if the artist's concept requires it for a fuller expression of her idea.
In her creativity, she explores the idea of life and death, the possibility of transition to other worlds and states, the good and the eternal — loyalty and love. Favorite themes include abstraction, animals, cityscapes, and psychological/metaphysical topics. Her preferred colors are red, black, and blue. She loves pure, bright, and saturated colors.
Marina Petrova is a participant and winner of competitions in Russia and abroad, a curator and organizer of international exhibition projects, engaged in charity, supports and promotes talents, author of the online workshop "Artist Packaging," speaker and mentor.
