In 2014, Sergey Olegovich received the Nominal Prize of the Vice-President of the regional branch in Krasnoyarsk of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician A. P. Levitin, and in 2015, the nominal prize of the People's Artist of Russia Y.P. Ishkhanov for the diploma painting "Legends of Lake Baikal".
In 2018, he was awarded the medal of the Union of Artists of Russia for his work "Vitek" at the interregional exhibition in Novokuznetsk "Siberia – XII".
He is a participant in international, national, regional, city, and other exhibitions.
