Vassilieva Julia

Vassilieva Julia

Country: Russia ·Born in 1975

Julia Vassilieva, a self-taught artist, live and work in Moscow, Russia.
She’s been pursuing her artistic practice since November 2021 choosing acrylics as her primary medium
.

Julia adores experiments with textures and actively explores upcycling techniques in home décor.

Particular passion is observing the ever-changing sky, which has inevitably materialized in a series of works called "Celestial Satin" (Облачный атлас).

Creating a painting is always an experiment, Julia says, as well as a very close emotional connection with the subject.

Each of her paintings is an echo of the period she lived through, creating a picture.

The main subjects of her paintings are marine and natural landscapes in an abstract style.
