In 1980-1981, she studied at the Correspondence People's University of Arts (ZNUI),
which provided her with the first skills in painting, as well as exposure to artistic materials and necessary technologies, but her main profession was different.
She returned to painting on a permanent basis in 2012, already in her mature years.
She resumed her studies on her own using books and YouTube master classes by other artists.
Since January 2018, Olga has been studying online with professional artist Vladimir Leonidovich Kopylov (born in 1962 in Cherepovets).
Despite the fact that the teacher was hundreds of kilometers away, the training has yielded very good results, and the student's artistic skills have improved significantly.
Since June 2020, Olga has been studying landscape painting at the online school of the professional artist Stanislav Aleksandrovich Brusilov (born in 1976, Moscow), a painter who continues and supports the school of Russian realistic painting.
