Artem Puchkov was born in 1969 in Tomsk. Graduated from the Crimean Art School named after M.S. Samokish. Studied at the art studio of Hugo Schauffler. Chairman of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia in the Republic of Crimea, General Director of the ANO Tavricheskaya Academy of Arts, member of the World Geographical Society, member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia. Creative trips to the USA, India, Pakistan, Tibet - the Himalayas, Israel, the Caucasus. Since 1992, he has held 40 exhibitions in Crimea, Kyiv, Moscow, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, as well as the USA, Germany and the Czech Republic. As Hugo Schauffler says, Artem Puchkov is his best student, a master of landscape. Puchkov is called the "Crimean Roerich".
