Andrew Viktorovich Gapienko was born on April 24, 1968, in the city of Sumy, Sumy region. In 1985, he enrolled at the Tver Art College named after A.G. Venetsianov (painting and pedagogical department). After graduating in 1991, he engaged in artistic activities and painting. He creates his works in a creative tandem with his wife Natalia Nikolaevna, who is also a professional artist. They have participated in exhibitions in Moscow, Tver, Dagestan, Sumy, Wales, Quebec, and many other cities. He is a member of the Perekrestok group of professional artists.
