Ivanova Valeria

Born in 1993

Hello, I'm Valeria, a professional decorative artist from St. Petersburg, creating unique interior wall panels for those who appreciate contemporary art in its tactile form.

My passion for textured surfaces and unconventional materials was born during my university years when we received an unusual assignment - to create clothing or jewelry using only cardboard egg cartons. This exercise completely transformed my perception of materials! I discovered that even the most mundane, discarded material could become something extraordinary when viewed from a different perspective.

Since then, I've never stopped experimenting. My works are always a dialogue between materials and textures. I love combining seemingly incompatible elements: noble plaster with technological foam, cold metal with warm wood. In each panel, I strive to break beyond two-dimensionality, creating volumetric pieces that beg to be touched as much as viewed.

What defines my work:
- Pronounced 3D textures that transform walls into art objects
- Bold yet thoughtful material combinations
- Contemporary aesthetics free from clichés
- Each panel is a unique piece with its own story

I believe interior decor shouldn't just fill space but should create atmosphere and tell stories. That's why I pour not just professional skills but also part of my worldview into every piece.

My panels live in private collections and commercial spaces across Russia and abroad. If you're looking for a truly unique accent for your interior - I'd be delighted to create it for you.

"From cardboard egg cartons to premium interiors - I've learned to see beauty in unexpected materials and forms."

P.S. All works are handmade with special attention to detail. Let's transform your walls into art together!

Education

I graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Design (SPbSUITD), where I received a fundamental education in decorative and applied arts. It was within the walls of this institute that my first creative experiments with materials took place – remember that story about cardboard egg cartons?

Studying at one of Russia's leading art universities gave me:
- A classical foundation in texture work and composition
- An understanding of the dialogue between traditional and modern techniques
- The courage to seek unconventional solutions

But most importantly – the institute taught me to see artistic potential in the most ordinary materials, which became the foundation of my current style.
