Hello, dear friends! My name is Yulia Kalganova. I was born in the Moscow region on July 15, 1982. In 1998, I graduated from the Children's School of Arts in the city of Moskovsky, and during my studies, I participated in regional exhibitions. In 2002, I graduated from the Moscow School of Artistic Crafts with a specialization as an "artist of decorative and applied arts." In 2007, I completed my studies at the Moscow State Humanitarian University named after M.A. Sholokhov in the department of artistic graphics. I began painting in 2009.
The most beloved subjects in my work are Russian nature, churches, and flowers. In metalwork, I also strive to be in harmony with nature, which is my inspiration.
I am a member of the Creative Union of Professional Artists and a member of the Eurasian Art Union. I have participated in and won awards at more than 60 Russian and international exhibitions, including three solo exhibitions. My paintings are held in private collections in Russia and abroad. My works are also owned by stars of the Russian pop scene such as Stas Mikhaylov, Anastasia Volochkova, Anastasia Makeeva, Ekaterina Gordon, and others. Politicians Gennady Zyuganov, Sergey Mironov, and others also own my paintings.
