Architectural Department of NPI, 1989-1994.
Born on November 11, 1968, in the city of Volkhov, Leningrad region. In 1972, my parents moved to Novgorod (now Veliky Novgorod). My childhood was quite ordinary – I attended kindergarten, then school. I participated in the class editorial board, helping to produce wall newspapers. After serving in the army, I enrolled in the Novgorod Polytechnic Institute in the "Architecture" department. During my student years, I became passionate about pencil drawing. Then there was a break – I got married, had a son, and dealt with housing issues.
At 42, my wife and I divorced, leaving a void inside and free time. On one of my trips to the mountains, where I worked as a mountaineering instructor, I met a girl who painted in oil en plein air. This subject interested me. At 44, I took up the brush. For the first year, I practiced with acrylic paints, then switched to oil.
In painting, I chose the theme of the nude female form, which attracts with its beauty; I like the female body as the crown of nature’s creation. Sometimes I paint mountain and city landscapes, as well as portraits.
I continue to paint to this day. I rarely participate in exhibitions.
