Àsia Evgenyevna Konechënkova – a landscape artist from Saint Petersburg. She was born on May 2, 1991, in Potsdam, Germany. She began her practical creative journey in 2011 by exploring her own capabilities in oil painting on the path to bright and emotional landscape expression.
Since childhood, she has been passionately studying the theory of color and color perception, as from the moment she became self-aware, she realized that she sees the spectrum slightly clearer and wider than is usual in everyday life.
In 2012, she had the opportunity to visualize her reflections on the wave nature of light and its influence on color, assisting in designing the observation room of the audiometric center of the FSBI SSONKC named after L.G. Sokolov FMBA of Russia in Saint Petersburg. The triptych "Anatomy of Hearing" included paintings visualizing the light wave, as well as anatomical depictions of the outer and inner ear.
Since 2021, she has been actively working on studying materials and practical execution of subjects. From 2022, she began working in the dry pastel technique. She has organized several solo exhibitions and is engaged in social activities. In her creative practice, she prefers certain materials, particularly oil and pastel, but she has a deep interest in various mediums and techniques, as changing the binder and canvas allows for a better understanding of the pigment's work itself and accelerates the technical development of artistic skills.

The theme of her research is the comprehension of the corpuscular-wave theory of light and its influence on color in the painter's practice. In depicting landscapes and architecture, the author follows the path of the Impressionists, filling the subject with the ringing purity of aerial perspective and balancing spectral colors in the pursuit of harmonious reproduction of a real or imagined scene.

She possesses the basics of Japanese hieroglyphics and calligraphy and can paint in the sumi-e technique.

Since 2024, she has been a member of the Eurasian Art Union and a member of the Union of Russian Artists. She supervises the social project "Meeting with Art" at the Kirillov Library in the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region.

Author of more than 10 regional solo exhibitions, a solo exhibition in Saint Petersburg (2025), winner of competitions in general landscape painting categories and specifically pastel painting, participant in joint exhibitions and competitions, including Saint Petersburg Art Week (2023, 2024), Moscow Art Week (2023).
