Volterbeat is the artistic pseudonym of the artist Maria Ivanova.
Maria was born and lives in Saint Petersburg.
She has been engaged in drawing since childhood, studying painting techniques on her own.
"Drawing is a special language for me, through which I interact with the surrounding world, express my feelings and emotions, and reveal my thoughts through composition, the combination of texture, colors, and lines."
Maria's professional education in chemistry helps her understand materials and tools to use them correctly, as well as to apply unconventional techniques and means to create her paintings.
Maria has been painting since 2017, actively promoting her work, participating in exhibitions, and creating commissioned pieces since 2020.
