Soldatenko Andrey Petrovich was born in 1975 in the city of Saratov. In 1989, he graduated from the Saratov Children's Art School.
From 1991 to 1995, he studied at the Saratov Art College named after A.P. Bogolyubov in the "Design" department.
During his studies at the college, he began to focus extensively on painting, which became the foundation of his creative work. In those years, he also actively participated in various exhibitions. Soldatenko A.P. is a participant in group, city, regional, interregional, all-Russian, and international exhibitions, a participant in international plein airs, a participant and winner of competitions, and the author of several solo exhibitions.
Member of VTOO "Union of Artists of Russia" since 2010.
Member of the board of the SOO VTOO "Union of Artists of Russia" since 2015.
Actively participates in the work of the exhibition commission and in the exhibition activities of the Saratov branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Since 2019, Soldatenko A.P. has been working as a teacher at MAU DO "DShI named after V.V. Kovalev" MO "City of Saratov".
The main direction in A.P. Soldatenko's creativity is paintings executed in a realistic style: landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes. The nature of the Saratov region, the cityscape, and the Volga River have become the main sources of inspiration for the artist. In Soldatenko's works, one can find scenes from Moscow, Crimea, Altai, Siberia, and other regions and countries. Also, in Soldatenko's creativity, there are works done in a decorative style and in the style of Russian avant-garde.
The artist's works are held in many private collections in Russia and other countries around the world, in the Penza Art Gallery named after K.A. Savitsky, and in the Bazarny-Karabulak Art Museum.
