Mikhail Dmitrievich Viktorov (born 1959) graduated from the Voronezh Art School, Voronezh Art College, and the Faculty of Architecture at the Voronezh Engineering and Construction Institute. He is a laureate of architectural and poster competitions. Mikhail is an associate professor at the Design Department of Voronezh State Pedagogical University and an associate academician of the international academy of arts «GRECI-MARINO» ACADEMIA DEL VERBANO (Turin, Italy). He is a member of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia. More than 70 productions have been staged based on his sketches in Voronezh, Yaroslavl, Volgograd, Kirov, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Orsk, Noginsk, Oryol… Viktorov has participated in over 70 exhibitions. The artist’s solo exhibitions have been held three times in Moscow and Voronezh, as well as in Canterbury (England) as part of the Canterbury International Arts Festival, in Belgrade (Serbia), and in Belgorod. In 2004 and 2005, Mikhail Viktorov’s works were included in the catalogs “Art of Russia” and “International encyclopedic dictionary of modern and contemporary art 2005/2006.” Mikhail received the 1st prize and a gold medal at the international competition “SANTA MARIA DELLE ARTI 2006 19th edition” (Turin, Italy). The artist’s works are held in museums, private, and corporate collections in Russia, the USA, Germany, England, Ireland, France, Austria, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Serbia.
