In reality, the vast majority of professional artists are very similar in their creative approach, technical skill, choice of themes, and most importantly—their way of thinking. The so-called avant-garde circles differ mainly by substituting craftsmanship with various technical gimmicks, twists, textural and superficial refinements, a dismissive attitude towards the natural and unrecognized beauty of the surrounding world, and a formal, at best extremely primitive, representation of it.
