Born in Moscow into the family of famous artists Max Birshtein and Nina Vatolina
Graduated from the Moscow Surikov State Art Institute (Faculty of Painting, workshop of D. Zhilinsky, A. Gritsay).
Since 1975, she has been a regular participant in art exhibitions.
Member of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists of the USSR/Russia
Anna Birshtein’s works are held in numerous museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
