Artist's Creative Biography

Amelyanchik Valentina Ivanovna is a painter born in 1949. She was born in Khabarovsk. Education: State Pedagogical University (Khabarovsk).

Member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists (СПбСХ). She has the "For Achievements in Culture" badge.

Valentina's style ranges from realistic to almost futuristic abstract works, featuring very modern linear structures. She needs constant contact with nature, and this almost passion is reflected through her still lifes. This deep love and interest in natural things inspires her to create powerful, detailed images of organic forms – flowers, fruits, butterflies, dragonflies, moths – in addition to iconic portraits of women.

ABOUT THIS ARTIST:

Valentina Amelyanchik is a professional artist working in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She is an extremely intuitive and passionate artist who allows her hands to be guided by her subconscious. Usually, she does not have a clear plan when the paint first touches the canvas. She fully immerses herself in her work, moving around the room and examining her painting from all angles, allowing the canvas to reveal itself to her. Valentina creates her paintings spontaneously and is completely absorbed in the moment. She possesses a supernatural ability to capture her emotions and feelings towards the subject on the canvas, drawing the viewer into a realm of their own, perhaps unrealized, emotions. Valentina has an impulsive creative nature and sometimes spends 24 hours painting a single subject without stopping. The contrast of bright colors, unexpected shifts in size and design—all embody the spontaneity of the moment.

Currently, Valentina Amelyanchik pursues her creative work in a home studio and teaches painting to enthusiasts of all ages.
