Olga Vakhonina

Country: Russia ·Born in 1976

Having received an art education at MSTU named after A.N. Kosygin, Olga worked with clothing for over 20 years: as a costume artist in film and TV production, a designer in the fashion industry and manufacturing, a stylist in an image agency, and on Russian television.

Her love for a cohesive, well-thought-out look, diverse stylistic interpretations of costumes, and their details she transfers into her art and embodies in several series of works: the Himalayan "Achromatic Neural Networks," the Nepalese "Between Mountains and Lakes," and the Goan "Microcosm of a Grain of Sand."

From 2022 to 2025, Olga traveled through Southeast Asia, lived among the locals, observed local communities, and studied the diffusion of identity in these places.
