Solo Exhibitions
Two solo exhibitions with the project “Digital EYE”.
The main idea of the project is the blurring of the boundaries of private life due to the integration of technology into all spheres and aspects of life. The central image – surveillance cameras – represents modern technology, which is just the tip of the iceberg. Does the development of technology lead to a point where people can no longer influence their own fate? Is ethics possible in the digital world, and what should it be? But civilization is always a compromise; we gain something and lose something.
Digital EYE
Museum of Russian Art, Moscow | May 24-26, 2019
Presented are 6 paintings with augmented reality. The viewer, using a phone or tablet, complements the painting with another reality located on the other side of the canvas – seeing what the cameras are filming.
Exhibition Manifesto Digital EYE 2.0
Gallery DORDOR, Moscow | Sep 6-9, 2019
Presented are 8 paintings with augmented reality. The immersion into another reality was enhanced by a performative program – viewers were involved in a theatrical immersive performance. Also, an integral part of the exhibition was specially composed thematic electronic music and a hang drum concert.
