The painting "Blossoming of Andalusia" was born from the artist's heartfelt dialogue with the nature of southern Spain. The work is based on a series of sketches created during moments of contemplation in Andalusian gardens, where every stroke became a declaration of love for this land. These spontaneous sketches, like diary pages, preserved the living energy of the place and became the foundation for the monumental canvas.
On the canvas, scarlet callistemon inflorescences engage in an exquisite dialogue with delicate mahonia berries; their dance echoes the passionate rhythms of flamenco and the eternal harmony of Spanish nature. The technique of volumetric impasto creates a complex play of light and shadow, where each brushstroke possesses its own plasticity and expressiveness. Gold leaf, shimmering from within, fills the composition with a warm glow, transforming the painted surface into a sun-drenched stained-glass window.
