Для средневекового европейского города ратуша — центр городской жизни. Здесь узнавали новости, здесь висели те самые главные часы (помните Электроника: «Бьют часы на старой башне...»? Это оно же!), отсюда выступали городские власти. Сюда бежали все горожане, если должно было произойти (или уже произошло!) что-то интересное.
Немудрено, что каждый город стремился при строительстве ратуши подчеркнуть свою самобытность и непохожесть на других .
На моей картине изображена ратуша, которая находится в центре города и всегда рада своим жителям, гостям и просто зевакам-туристам. Она принимает самое активное участие в жизни каждого горожанина. В ней венчаются и регистрируют детей, браки. Здесь оплакивают тех, кто ушел из жизни и решают важные вопросы.
Моя ратуша - это символ устойчивости жизни, ее продолжения.

For a medieval European city, the town hall is the center of city life. They found out the news here, and the main clock was hanging here (remember the Electronics: "The clock on the old tower is striking..."? That's it!), the city authorities spoke from here. All the townspeople ran here if it was going to happen (or had already happened!) something interesting.
It is no wonder that each city sought to emphasize its identity and difference from others during the construction of the town hall.
My painting depicts a town hall, which is located in the center of the city and is always happy to its residents, guests and just gawkers-tourists. It takes the most active part in the life of every citizen. In it are married and registered children, marriages. Here mourn those who have passed away and solve important issues.
My town hall is a symbol of the stability of life, its continuation.
