Malerei "Composition # 465"
4000 €
This is a study of time and - space in time and space. It is between reality and art where magic happens that transcends space and time. My canvas is the interface between reality and illusion. I make the dream and the matter-of-fact life slide into each other to spark a poetic encounter. The space of this picture is concrete and illusionary at the same time. I pose my compositions as a unique perceptual challenge.
This composition is perfectly symmetrical, with a central focal point created by the star shape. Balance is achieved through equal distribution of elements, enhancing the stability and harmony.
This painting features a geometric star pattern, symbolizing guidance, direction, and celestial themes and allowing architectural interpretation.
I intended this composition as both dynamic and balanced, evoking feelings of both stability and energy. My use of sharp angles and contrasting colors suggests movement and energy. I created strong contrasts and a vibrant visual effect. The dominance of blue suggests calmness, while yellow and black add energy and depth. I prefer focusing on precise shapes and color fields. Influences from Modernist movements can be seen, emphasizing form and color over representation.
I painted in acrylic on canvas, using flat color application and sharp edges to create clean, defined shapes. This precision job called for my careful planning and meticulous execution in the painting process. My flat application of paint gives a sleek and uniform tactile experience on the canvas.
I conveyed depth through overlapping shapes and color shifts, rather than traditional perspective techniques. This abstract approach allows for a dynamic spatial perception.
My imagery is rigorous and reductive yet alive with vibes. The visual rigor implies a complexity of meaning. I never try to anticipate the viewer’s perceptual experience with my painting; it is totally up to him to live it through.
All my paintings are ready to hang with professional gold colored craft hanging wire (Holland) mounted in D-ring hangers (Holland) on all intended sides. The image is continued on the edges (gallery canvas stretching), thus a frame is not needed, it is optional.
