After a winter storm on the harsh shore of Teriberka, a vessel suddenly appeared. Without a crew or any identifying marks, this mysterious ship seemed to have emerged from nowhere, like a ghost from the past. The boat, with the look of an experienced and wise traveler, seems to have found its final refuge. It sat aground with dignity, as if deciding it was time to rest from endless journeys and conquered waves. It feels as though neither nature nor man could move it from this new, chosen place, where it now rests as an eternal beacon of memory from days gone by.
Here, in this northern corner, everything seems possible, and this old boat is a silent witness to the eternal flow of time and the stories born on the shores of the Barents Sea.
In my works, I don’t use white paint or any paints that contain white pigment. All the white areas are simply the paper. I personally tested all my paints for lightfastness, so the colors will remain unchanged even after 50–70 years.
