The painting is part of a private collection.
The Blue Bird is a symbolic and deeply lyrical work in which I explore themes of inner transformation, liberation, and feminine identity. The central figure — a young woman with long hair and scissors in her hands — stands at the threshold of change. Her gaze is directed toward the blue bird — an eternal symbol of hope, dreams, and the search for happiness. The bird flies toward her, as if inviting her to break free from limitations and cross the boundary of the familiar on the path to inner freedom.
The vibrant flowers against the black background symbolize the heroine’s inner world — her emotions, strength, and beauty. The contrast between soft organic forms and a decisive action creates a tense yet harmonious composition.
This piece is not only visually captivating but also rich in philosophical meaning — it speaks of the importance of inner choice, the fragility of pivotal moments, and the beauty of self-discovery.
